Life, Love and Lie

Greek Philosopher Aristotle said, "Man is a social animal." Our existence has more value when it is related to other individuals. However, no matter how we think of ourselves as non-dependent on others, we still have to depend on others for our daily lives.

Life and dependency are linked with the bond of love. In the family setup, we find a complete status of mutual dependency between husband and wife, parents and children, siblings and relatives, etc.

When there is love, we forget to live for ourselves and live for the other. For the cause of love, people take any amount of pain and are motivated to take high risks. Most parents sacrifice their happiness and forget to live, motivated by love towards their children.

The beauty of life rests neither on our wealth nor on our social status, but life becomes more and more beautiful when we love and are loved by someone. Man is a loved and loving animal. If there is no love, there is no life, and life is love, and love is life.

French philosopher Rene Descartes says, "cogito, ergo sum," which can be translated as "I think, therefore I am." I would like to change his saying to "amo, ergo sum," which means "I love, therefore I am."

Real love demands real sacrifice, and it is hampered by lies. Love begets trust, and lies begets doubts.

Let it be any relationship. It takes years to build up a relationship of trust. But a single lie is enough and more to make a rift in the age-old relationship of trust. Once there is a rift in trust, it remains. As the number of lies increases, the rift becomes wider and wider. You cannot love with lies, and you can never win trust with lies.

We humans are always prone to mistakes; therefore, we should accept mistakes with humility instead of justifying them with lies. Genuine love is always open to forgiveness when mistakes are confessed.

A liar may feel that they have won. But in reality, a liar is a loser because you cannot build up love and trust on a foundation of lies. Once a person trusts you and learns that you have lied, that may cause a drift in trust. So, it's better to be sincere and honest in love and life.

Let our life be a life of love, and let us try to win the trust of our dear and near ones.
